PREPARATORY ANALYSIS

Upon receiving an order, we analyze the text in order to determine the general features of the document, the field to which it belongs and what tools will be necessary for the translation. This phase helps us to organize the entire process and to consider the resources and timeframe that will be required. A project manager is assigned to supervise and coordinate the project until its final delivery in order to guarantee the project's quality. It goes without saying that, the texts will be translated by translators whose mother tongue is the target language.

TRANSLATION

This is the core of the process in which the translation is carried out, any terminology queries are compiled and resolved and the translation memories are generated etc. As the various parts of the project are being completed they are filtered through a spell-checker.

EDITING

Once completed; the translation is edited, in order to compare the translation with the source document and prevent possible misinterpretation or to detect any grammatical, terminological, spelling and stylistic errors etc. that have not been detected by the translator. It is wrong to think that a document is error-free after spell-checking. Editing is without the doubt the most important form of quality control that every translation must undergo.

CORRECTION

This is the final phase of the process in which the translation is corrected. The final document is read through (without comparing it with the source) in order to correct possible typesetting errors or other errors that may have gone unnoticed in the editing stage. Furthermore, the document is perfected in terms of format and presentation.
